06 / Municipal and regional projects
From decision to outcome.
For each project, we distinguish plans, approved funding and documented outcomes. This selection includes heritage and recent projects; it is not the municipality’s complete investment register.
2024
Opened on 14 April 2024
Lubina firefighters’ museum
The museum opened in the restored historic fire station in Miškech Dedinka, linked to the Blahej pamäti project. Local volunteers helped create the exhibition preserving the community’s firefighting tradition.
The notice records completion on 27 April 2023, ten outdoor access points and a €14,250 grant. Current network availability and connection quality need a separate check.
The project notice describes renewal around the First World War memorial and the fire station. Eligible expenditure: €57,833.76; grant: €54,942.07. The notice alone does not establish handover of completed works.
The municipal project portal lists €2.1 million overall and envisages construction from summer 2027 to autumn 2028. Stará Turá’s June 2025 minutes report a €107,010 tender for design documentation. That is neither the full construction price nor an established cost borne by Lubina alone.
The municipality published a project for a small tractor and equipment supporting separate waste collection. Assessment requires matching the final price, funding, handover and actual use.
Original budget → contract and amendments → paid invoices → deadline and handover → usage and annual operating costs. A grant or a high price alone does not establish whether a project offers good value.
