Verification and corrections

We identify the document, location, period, known explanations and limits of the finding. We distinguish fact, calculation and question. Municipal responses, further records or corrections may change both the text and rating. Residents may put the suggested questions to the municipality themselves. The watchdog does not send questions to the municipality. A published question does not imply a refusal to answer. Local versions are retained; material corrections are described in the article.

What still needs further research
  • Archival verification of the 1392 charter and the early settlement chronology. Web research does not replace study of original records.
  • Conflicting dates for the new parsonage and differing elevations for Holubyho chata. Disputed figures are omitted.
  • The lives of women, craftspeople, teachers, farmers and the Jewish community, using chronicles, registers, local newspapers and family collections.
  • Full oversight and audit reports, corrective actions, invoices, contracts and project handover records.
  • The 2027 budget figures come from the draft published on 22 October 2026. Approval and later amendments require separate tracking.
